Hosted by the Alameda County Office of Education and funded by the California Department of Education though a Learn and Serve America Grant, the Region 4 Service-Learning Network is staffed by the Regional Lead for Service-Learning. The Regional Lead provides service-learning support to schools, districts, teachers, students and community partners interested in engaging young people in meaningful learning experiences that make a difference in the communities in which they live.
